With a ninth grade class from the Graz International Bilinugal School (GIBS), we had another premiere in our workshop series, our first workshop in English.

English is the number one language of science and that is not the only reason why it is important. From an international perspective, English is also a particularly good way to reach a large number of people. Holding the workshop in English was therefore a welcomed and successful challenge. This shows once again that comics can be used universally. Language barriers can be bridged particularly easy through the use of images and text. Most of the created comics were done in English. However, as is always the case with the workshops, each comic speaks its own language, which the comic authors and artists breathe into them.
