Every workshop is a new experience and our wealth of experience in imparting knowledge continues to grow. The workshop at the Neue Mittelschule St. Johann was initially a challenge, but one that we gladly accepted. Interest in learning about biomembranes or drawing science comics varied greatly among the pupils. In such cases, we try to talk tothe pupils individually and develop suitable stories. Even if not everyone was equally motivated, we received some great comics from the students.

The love story of Matteo and Melina, written by Giulia Paar, is particularly worth mentioning. We even received the original comic as a gift and now use it in our workshops as an example of successful completed science comics.

Many thanks also to the teacher responsible, who provided us with a great metaphor for the cell and compared it to a bakery. We also used this metaphor successfully in later workshops.
